On-filed training with Coaches Across Continents

For the second year running, we hosted the team from Coaches Across Continents (CAC). As part of our three-year Hat-Trick Partnership with CAC, we hosted a week – long training on sports for social impact.

The training was conducted in Kampala at Uganda Martyrs High School, Lubaga. We invited and were joined by more than 40 community coaches from Kampala and Wakiso. We also had coaches from Nebbi, Budaka and Nakuru in Kenya joining us during the training week.

The training was conducted by three CAC staff including Nicopota – community impact coach from Tanzania, Johnie – a global citizen from USA, and Pedro – a self directed learning coach from Spain.

There were a range of social topics handled ranging from WASH, to gender equality, education and employment, children’s rights among others.

At the end of the training week, all the trainees were awarded with certificates of completion.

We thank the coaches and organisations that took part in the training. We are very grateful to the CAC team for the impactful week.
